Reading Partners at CHPC ~ Seeking Volunteers!

Reading Partners Needed to Make a Difference in a Child’s Life
Representatives from Reading Partners will visit College Hill on the 18th to discuss this opportunity, and will also be available before and after worship in Fellowship Hall to answer any questions and assist with the registration process for those interested in volunteering. Volunteer locations include neighboring Kendall Whittier, as well as Sequoyah Elementary, among other schools throughout town.
More than simply reading with a child, you will help your student gain key foundational skills to become a stronger reader.
Minimum requirements to volunteer:
– You must be 14-years or older
– Commit to as little as one hour a week [(M-Th, 8am to 2pm)]
– Attend an in-person Tutor Orientation
– Pass a background check
Reading Partners will provide you with:
– A highly effective, easy-to-use curriculum
– In-person training and on-site support
– The opportunity to make a tangible difference
